Never Be The Same Tour
We are excited to announce our largest tour to date begining this April. The ‘Never Be The Same” tour will begin on April 24th and takes in most Australian capital cities as well as a regional centers all around the country.
Support duties will be split between Walk The Moon (USA), a band with "swirly pop beats, infectious guitar riffs, and loud, sing-a-long hourses." and the most outstanding Oh Mercy, who last year released Deep Heat, their third and most colourful album to date.
Tickets for the ‘Never Be the Same’ Tour go on sale Friday 1st March.

We played the biggest One Night Stand ever !
On the weekend we played our biggest show yet... In Dubbo, NSW Australia. Triple Js One Night Stand packed in over 18000 people and we nailed it. The Rubens
The Rubens are brothers Sam, Elliott and Zaac Margin and good friend Scott Baldwin. Although they’ve only been playing together since early 2011, they have already won over a legion of fans with their rich, soulful take on blues rock.
Their debut single ‘Lay It Down’ struck a huge chord and saw them score the triple j Unearthed spot at Homebake before going on to hit #57 in triple j’s 2011 Hottest 100 poll.
Since then these Menangle wunderkinds holed up in New York City and recorded their debut album with producer David Kahne (Regina Spektor, Paul McCartney, The Strokes).
Currently on a sold-out national tour (including memorable shows at The Forum Theatre in Melbourne and two Metro Theatre shows in Sydney) THE RUBENS seem to be on a dream run, with the band’s recently released debut, self-titled album coming in at #1 on the iTunes chart and an impressive #3 on the ARIA Album chart. The band’s video for ‘My Gun’ is also nominated for Best Video at the 2012 ARIA Awards. Not bad for a band that has been together just over a year.
